Collection of articles “Topical Issues of Translation and Interpretation Studies and Practice”. Information for Authors.

Every year Alba Translating Company publishes a collection of articles related to the issues of translation and interpretation studies and practice. The publication is included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).

Publication Terms and Conditions

sbornikThe article shall consist of a maximum 2500 words. Submission of the same article for publication to any other printing or online edition is not allowed. The author’s copy of the book is provided free of charge. Each author is entitled to publish not more than two articles.

The collection of articles is published annually. The articles are due until the end of April. The estimated time of publication is through May to July.

Article Layout Guidelines

Articles should be provided in MS Word editable format (*.doc, *.docx, *.rtf), Times New Roman, font size: 14, line interval: 1.5. Margins: top – 2 cm, bottom – 2 cm, left – 2 cm, right – 2 cm. The text of the article should contain the author’s full name, city, country, company (educational institution) and position indicated in the right upper corner.

In the text references and notes should be indicated in square brackets (for example, [1], [1–5; 9]). In the list of references the source should be indicated only once, therefore all the references in the text of the article to the said source should be made under the same number. If authors want to specify in the text page numbers of the same source, then these pages should be indicated after the number of the scientific paper. So, such references in the text of the article should be made in the following manner: [9, p. 25; 10, p. 15] or [9, p. 45]. The list of references should be provided at the end of the article.
